I have owned Brittanys since 1997 and competed in field trials since 2008. 

Roxy is one of my "foundation dogs." She was bred by Dan and Allison Ridell, owners of Alder Brittanys. Her Pedigree includes 3 hall of fame dogs, 4 national champions, 8 dual champions and many dogs with field championships.

Roxy is a spunky, and spirited hunting dog. She is owner trained, trialed, and hunted. Roxy is a compact dog, highly intelligent, tenacious in the field and possesses a sweet temperament. 

She began trialing at 2 years of age and has earned 26 field trial placements (11 firsts). In 2024 she placed 3rd in the National Amateur Walking Brittany Championship.

Roxy produced Scout from a breeding with NGDC, NWGDC, 2x NAGDC, GFC, GAFC, 2x NWGDC Magnum's High Velocity (Gauge), owned by Vince and Denise Anderson and bred by Al and Cindy Cropec of High Hopes Brittanys in Conneautville, Pennsylvania (2016 Pointing Breed Breeders of the Year).Through his storied career Gauge has earned 174 field trial placements and hunted the plains of the American West and Canada. His placements earned him the "Masked Man" award an unprecedented 4 times. 

Scout inherited Roxy's small stature and zip in the field. Both Roxy and Gauge provided her with an amazing nose for birds, exuberance in the field, style, and steadiness on her birds. At two years old Scout earned 19 placements, (4 firsts). In 2024, she placed 4th among New England Brittanys, and she has proven herself in tight New England cover on grouse and woodcock.
